The questionnaires containing vignettes of 4 types of abuse and neglect were mailed to School Social Workers (SSWer) in the Tohoku District. Responses from 101 SSWers (32.5%) were returned from February to March in 2019. A logistic regression analysis was conducted with judgement on severity level as the dependent variable, and age, experience of abuse case as SSWer and social worker, par ticipation of the Regional Council for Children, Certified Social Worker, teacher’s license, status of assignment as the independent variables. As a result of the analysis, factors influencing judgement on severity level at individual levels were different from vignette to vignette. There was no correlation between judgement on severity level and factors at the organization level.
