| 内容記述 | 近年、「ヤングケアラー」という言葉と共に、精神疾患のある親のもと育った方の体験談の共有やインタビュー、アンケート等の調査も行われ始めている。本稿では、国内外の先行研究等から精神疾患のある親を持つ子どもはどのような影響を受けているのか、また、こうした子どもと家族に対しどのようなサポートが行われているのかを整理し、必要な支援について示唆を得ることを目的とした。 精神疾患のある親を持つ子どもの多くは、乳児期から不安定な養育環境のもと育ち、その影響は思春期、そして成人以降にも続くほど深刻なものもある。一方で、親の意向や子ども自身の葛藤から、相談や支援に自らつながりづらい存在でもある。海外ではweb、サポートプログラム、制度政策等による取り組みが行われており、日本でも支援の必要性が認識され、取り組みが広がりつつあるが、支援を必要とする子どもと家族に広く行き届くような体制には至っていない。専門職や周囲の大人がこうした子どもや家族を気にかけていくことと共に、必要時に個々の状況に配慮したオーダーメイドの具体的な支援につなげることができるような切れ目のない体制作りが望まれる。 |

| 内容記述 | In recent years, along with the term "young caregiver," studies, stories and interviews about parental mental illness have been seen. The purpose of this paper is to examine how children are affected by parental mental illnesses, what kind of support is provided to these children and their families, and to gain suggestions for necessary support based on previous studies in Japan and overseas. Many children of parents with mental illness grow up in unstable environments from infancy, and some of the effects can be so severe that they continue into adolescence and even adulthood. On the other hand, the parents' intentions and the children's own conflicts make it difficult for them to seek counseling and support on their own. In some foreign countries, support is being made through the web, support programs, institutional policies, and so on. In Japan, the need for support has been recognized and efforts are spreading. However, the system has yet to reach a sufficient number of children and families in need of support. It is important that professionals and adults who are close to children, pay attention to these children and their families. Also, it is strongly recommended that a seamless system be established to provide tailormade, specific support based on each individual situation when necessary. |
