| 内容記述 | イタリアの政治哲学者ジョルジョ・アガンベンはコロナ禍の最奥にある問題としてわたしたちの隣人なるものの廃止や抹消を指摘し、生の縮減に警鐘を鳴らしている。本稿はこのアガンベンの警鐘からルターのペスト書簡を読み直し、二つの災厄に共通するいのちの課題を取り出す試みである。そこでルターが神奉仕、即、隣人奉仕と明確に語るとき、祈り、隣人愛、そして奉仕（ディアコニア）といった一連の言葉と共に、宗教道徳一般の教えを繰り返しているわけではない。むしろパンデミック下にある「生の縮減」状態に抗する神学的応答を公開の書簡としている。この脈絡において「神を前に隣人と共に生きる」は、「逃げるか否か」という倫理的選択の基盤となる生とその存在様式（モード）を示唆するものであり、そこで「隣人なるもの」とはただ働きかけられる何かではなく、いのちに内在し働きかける当のものとなる。 Italian philosopher, Giorgio Agamben, referring to “our neighbor has been cancelled,” points to the deepest abyss of our conditions under covid-19. This paper sets out to reconsider Luther’s letter for deadly plague in the 16th century from the perspective of Agamben’s insight to life for covid-19. Regarding serving neighbors as a service to God in his letter, Luther succeeds in reforming Christian traditional concepts such as prayer, love and service to neighbor in the way of contextual theology. From the viewpoint of the letter for deadly plague, “life together with our neighbor in the presence of God (coram Deo)” is also radicalized from merely a religious-moral discourse to the mode of existence of life. Our neighbor is not merely the other for which someone loves and serves, but rather Christ within us that works for and serves the neighbor. |
